The 25th Run in commemoration of the Day of the Defenders of Freedom in Klaipėda is a traditional running event dedicated to honoring those who died and fought for Lithuania's freedom. The event brings together the city community and visitors, taking place on January 18 in Klaipėda. Participants can choose from two distances - an 8 km main route and a 3 km short route, designed for schoolchildren, seniors, and anyone for whom the long route is too challenging. The start is in the evening, and the routes pass through beautiful city locations, including a bicycle path and the Summer Stage.

Numbers with an outdoor RFID chip. It is recommended to pick up numbers in advance to avoid queues on the event day. Number pickup for 8 km runners is at the bus from the Town Hall, for 3 km runners - near the Summer Stage. Buses depart to the start locations at 19:00. Individual warm-up from 19:45 to 19:55. Route closing at 21:20. Medals are awarded to the first 900 finishers. The event is organized with buses and community participation, starting in Klaipėda at the Giruliai Radio and TV Tower.
