Respublikinis bėgimas „Pabaiskas - Ukmergė“, skirtas Lietuvos Valstybės atkūrimo dienai

The national run "Pabaiskas - Ukmergė" is held in Ukmergė to celebrate Lithuania's Independence Day. It is a traditional race attended by running enthusiasts from all over Lithuania, aimed at promoting patriotism, active leisure, and running sport. The competition includes an 11.6 km distance starting in Pabaiskas and a 3 km distance for students at the Ukmergė hippodrome. After the finish, participants are awarded medals, and the event concludes with an award ceremony for the winners and tea refreshments.

Number distribution takes place at the Ukmergė Sports Center stadium gym from 9:30 to 11:00. Buses depart to Pabaiskas at 11:15. After the finish, all participants receive commemorative medals and are awarded the youngest and oldest participants. Race winners are awarded cups and medals. All participants are responsible for their health condition, either themselves or their accompanying persons. During the event, concerts, exhibitions, and other cultural activities are held in Ukmergė, with approximately 120 runners participating.
