Respublikinis bėgimas „Pabaiskas - Ukmergė“, skirtas Lietuvos Valstybės atkūrimo dienai

The national run “Pabaiskas - Ukmergė” commemorates the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania and takes place in Ukmergė. This traditional event attracts running enthusiasts from across Lithuania and aims to promote civic spirit, active leisure and running. The races include an 11.6 km distance starting in Pabaiskas and a 3 km race for students at the Ukmergė Hippodrome. After the finish, participants receive medals, and the event concludes with the awards ceremony and tea.

Race-number pickup takes place in the sports hall at the Ukmergė Sports Centre Stadium from 9:30 to 11:00. The bus to Pabaiskas departs at 11:15. After the finish, all participants receive commemorative medals, and the youngest and oldest participants are recognized. The race winners receive cups and medals. Participants are responsible for their own health, or responsibility lies with the people accompanying them. Concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events also take place in Ukmergė during the event, which draws around 120 runners.
