Bėgimas Graužikai-Kelmė

The Graužikai–Kelmė Run is a traditional run in Kelmė District, held in memory of Vaidotas Rimkus. The event takes place in October and aims to promote running and athletics in Lithuania, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and increase activity among district residents. It attracts runners of all ages, who can choose from several distances, including the 8 km main race. Participants are awarded cups, medals, and commemorative prizes.

The event starts at 12:30, with different distances and start times. Participants should arrive at the Kelmė Regional Museum by 11:30; transport to the start leaves at 12:15. The 200 m children’s race does not require registration. Participants must provide a doctor’s certificate confirming their health status. Winners and runners-up in various age groups receive awards, and everyone who completes a distance receives a commemorative medal.
