Race description
The VIII Herb Festival Marathon is a traditional running event held in Vingis Park, Vilnius, dedicated to celebrating the Herb Festival in a healthy, joyful, and meaningful way. The event is open to both professional athletes and beginners, offering various distances from children's runs to a full marathon. Each participant is awarded a metal figurine symbolizing a herb plant, and the course length is a 5.275 km loop, which runners complete according to their chosen distance. The event promotes community spirit and an active lifestyle.

Participants can choose from 6 distances: marathon (42.2 km), 31.6 km, half marathon (21.1 km), 10.6 km, 5.3 km (one lap), and a 600 m children's run. Each participant is awarded a metal figurine, the design of which changes annually, symbolizing different herb plants. The event celebrates traditions and community spirit, offering various distances and symbolic awards featuring herb plants.
