Klaipėdos EKOMaratonas

Klaipėda EKOMarathon is a traditional running event held on the forest trails of Giruliai in Klaipėda. Both amateur and professional runners can take part, promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activity. Distances range from 2 km for schoolchildren to 42.2 km for Ekomarathon participants, who run 10 laps of 4.2 km each. The event is organized by the Klaipėda city running club “Maratonas” and supported by Klaipėda City Municipality.

On race day, the timing system operates until 15:00. The entry fee is paid on site when collecting the race number. The first 300 participants receive commemorative medals; all participants receive certificates. Participants must bring an identity document to collect their race number. Participants agree that event organizers may use photographs and video footage taken during the event for marketing purposes. 4.2 km and 42.2 km distances, 2 km schoolchildren’s race, start in Giruliai Forest, online registration until April 30.
